Analyst: Micron's NAND Flash price increases by 10% in September

Following Samsung's price increase in August this year, Micron has also increased the contract price of NAND Flash wafers by about 10% since September, and believes that Micron's price increase will help improve the company's profit in the second half of this year.

In terms of DRAM, Micron is expected to benefit from 3 trends as soon as the fourth quarter of 2023/the first quarter of 2024, including Intel's new platform Meteor Lake to accelerate the growth of DDR5 penetration, and the strong demand for AI servers to drive high-bandwidth memory (HBM) ) shipments, as well as the promotion of large language models by brands and processor makers on devices is beneficial for DDR/LPDDR specification upgrades.
